@scaramanga a key point is "#Musk’s net worth is massively overvalued. He owns and runs several companies, but his wealth and claim to be “the richest in the world" is tied up in #Tesla, itself a company with a significantly inflated stock price. This is a bubble that has been waiting to pop, and we can be the needle." Musk lives off huge loans that would be called in if the Tesla share price dips, forcing him to sell Tesla stock, causing the price to fall further and bingo, he is bust!
@dominic @scaramanga Part of the problem I think is that no one wants to call in the loans because they know Tesla stock would tank, and they stand to get hit by huge losses to when it does. It's all criminals propping up criminals because they know when it bursts they're all screwed.
@christineburns @scaramanga @dominic The problem is these types don't care about the money and are happy to see him destroy the US. That's what they paid for by investing in him.
@scaramanga @dominic Musk ought to be worried about some of the people who've invested in his schemes. I mean, you've got the type who cut people into pieces for far less. Not to mention the kind who obligingly open windows.
@dalias @christineburns @scaramanga @dominic
Perhaps Musk’s biggest problem is if he succeeds. At that point his backers have no further use for him and he’ll be left dangling in the wind.
@KimSJ @christineburns @scaramanga @dominic Well they're trying to do the same with him in N other countries too...
