This feels like a good thing. While obviously things like hospitalization are unknown quantities, we've ended up backing ourselves out of fully paid for medical by making everyone go on high deductible plans, and so people need to know how much things cost. -

@sickburnbro Every prescription I've ever had has been like:
>"Oh you have insurance? That will be $20"
But my insurance is high deductible so I really don't, so:
>"Oh you don't have insurance? That will be $10"

@WhitestTemplar @sickburnbro Is there a "university hospital" left in the country that hasn't been incorporated and turned into a for-profit scheme that just carries the "university" moniker as a marketing gimmick? -

@sickburnbro High-deductible plans - the last thing most Americans could still afford, after Wall St took over the formerly non-profit insurance and hospitals - but didn't Obamacare make them illegal? Granted, they still screw you with "co-pays." -

@PopulistRight @sickburnbro "Obama's" plan was just a relabeling of the Romney plan, drafted by insurance companies to cover their terms for accommodating the fringe stuff Bread up, Bro likes this. -

@KarlDahl @PopulistRight man, maybe if we stop paying for PReP then health insurance might be almost affordable again
