    Apache OpenOffice (AOO) is an open-source office productivity software suite. It is one of the successor projects of OpenOffice.org and the designated successor of IBM Lotus Symphony.   @joosteto @historiavocis @neil Apache OpenOffice is still obsolescent. The only fork that is maintained regularly is LibreOffice.

  First release of openoffice was in 2002, the final release in 2011. It has now been obsolete longer than it ever was active.
