I have two questions about Loops.
1. what's the remaining barrier to it being #opensource as promised ?
2. why can't I find its website to upload videos and see others' videos?

@rzeta0 I think he's trying to figure out content delivery so it doesn't overload the storage of other instances, therefore he can't open source it yet because it would come with the unfinished content delivery which could be devastating for Fedi.
Loops.video is the website. I think you have to sign up to see the videos.
Thanks
Is this your opinion or is what the team have said officially is the barrier?
@rzeta0 he did say that they're trying to figure out content delivery, but not specifically that's why it's not open source, just an educated guess based on that statement.
@rzeta0 🤔I have no clue. I'm not the correct audience for that type of content so I never signed up.
Maybe @dansup will see this and chime in.
I hope you figure it out. I am looking forward to when they figure out federation so I can maybe watch a few here and there, but I'm definitely not the "scroll endlessly on TikTok" type of guy.
thanks - I did get a login but there are no videos
I hope it isn't an 'app only' thing
