   I was looking forward to having a chsnce to recover from burnout. ...Then my country decided fascism was a good idea, and now all the supports I worked hard to get are under attack, and they might literally eradicate my friends.

   So... I guess burnout and I are going to be hanging out for a long ass time

     As I said, much easier said than done... I don't know that there's a good answer and I seriously doubt anyone can fully escape what's going on around the US right now. All I'm saying is - if you can step away to recover a bit, take the opportunity. This is going to outlast you otherwise.
