   FSE and Poast keep as much in RAM as possible. I haven't checked how well it's played out but Poast's DB server now has enough RAM to hold the entire DB. If I have a look right now, Postgres is using 120GB of RAM on that box and about 400GB are dedicated to FS cache (so probably also Postgres).
   
   FSE is doing similar; we had Postgres using about 90GB of RAM on the old machine, though the new one is smaller.

     @SilverDeth Yeah, I think Poast is about 200-300GB on-disk, FSE's something like 700GB last I checked.

     @TeaTootler @SilverDeth @graf Oh, there's been an upgrade, the DB server's got 512GB of RAM now. Not *quite* enough to cache the whole DB but pretty damn close.
