     @i Pleroma instances have a relay actor, for example yours has https://declin.eu/relay. In theory its outbox can be used for backfilling , but it doesn't work (idk, maybe it can be enabled somehow?)

     @silverpill wish there was a way to backfill an entire instance too, something like a shared outbox of all the https://www.w3.org/ns/activitystreams#Public activities to iterate, so polling federation was more viable instead of tracking each users outbox individually

     @i @silverpill Which is weird cause relay.ex just calls CommonAPI.repeat which should inherit repeated object's visibility if it's not defined.

     because even 2k relay follows still leaves a ton to be desired
