@fogti @hipsterelectron @SafeguardingResearch The problem is not mirroring storage but attestation. What you really need is nothing but a notary signature "this hash was seen on this date" combined with an impartial archiving organization signing "this is the snapshot we took of site X on date Y".

@lispi314 @fogti @hipsterelectron @SafeguardingResearch The notary part is cryptographically tamperproof, and also guards against future compromise of the signing key that was used or future bad behavior by the attesting party.
