The system's main goal is for the system to survive, thinking you can rush in and change the system at a core level is peak retard. Entertaining at least though lmao, and I reckon this'll increase libertarian sentiment for a while so it's a W to me.
I agree, gotta cut out cancer at its roots or there's no point trying, but I don't think it's possible for any government to not become corrupt sooner or later. Anyone that wants to lead, and be responsible for all the suffering and death that comes with, isn't someone that you want to lead. The larger the scale, the more psycho/sociopathic exclusive it is.
There are a lot of checks and balances inbuilt into the system, he may have been warned not to push too far because that would be tyranny and the balances aren't exactly friendly towards tyrants. At least the unsubtle ones. He's definitely not done it the "correct way" so far, which is just feeding the opposition free cheap shots, and apparently doesn't have the spine to just make sure it gets done anyway. I've never been team trump besides as a meme in ~2015, so I'm just gonna sit over here with my 🍿
I never take credit for my guys' work. All I do is aim them, they do the rest. How can I take credit for their success? All I do is get out of the way and let them soar. Again, I just step in from time to time to redirect, or help correct something procedural. I mean, we hired adults, so I'm going to fucken treat them like adults. Probably why I'll never be a higher level manager.
That's why it would take immense character. The person to do it wouldn't be one that wants to but does it out of necessity and duty. IMO the best leaders I've ever had are ones who don't want to lead but do because it's what is needed.
People who are "leaders" because they proclaim themselves to be and want to tend to turn out to be nothing more than predators, much like our "leadership". They are predators at best and parasites at worst.
Just my life experience though, I'm sure others disagree.
In 22 years as a mechanic I've had 1 boss bring me in front of the board and say this is why we have profitable months.
The rest were micromanagers that tell you your ideas are dumb then implement it as their idea 2 weeks later. The worst was a guy name Bryan, it got so bad with him I'd yell across the shop
I've had a few micromanagers and I can't stand it. They would undermine me constantly. Id have my folks doing stuff and then the manager would come along after I walked away and change it all up. Finally just told them to get out of my area and let the results speak for themselves OR they could have my badge and do it themselves.
