   Well, my bike is dead. Some fucken idiot hit me, and i jumped off and slapped his good, but he still wasn't paying attention and he just rolled slowly over it while still not looking where he was going. He didn't stop until it got all caught under his car. Rip. At least I'm not hurt

     @MLE_online @Chip_Unicorn This is what makes the place great. Nobody has insurance, but they know a guy who can maybe fix what they broke.

     I'm glad you're okay. I hope your bike makes a full recovery.

     @Chip_Unicorn He doesn't have insurance. He doesn't even have a driver's license. But he is old-time homies with my bike shop guy, and my bike shop guy is going to fix my bike and said if this guy doesnt pay me, he'll go after him directly

     I stopped by the bike shop today because the owner told me to check in today. He made a lot of progress on putting the bike back together but basically every component besides the rear wheel has to be replaced. He still needs to rehab a set of brake levers for it and wrap the handlebars. I noticed that the rear derailleur was broken as well and pointed that out to him, so he's going to have to fix that too

     I went back to check on the bike just now. He had it all put together again and asked me to take it for a ride. I could feel it pulling to the right. And sure enough, the frame is twisted so that the steering tube isn't aligned with the seat tube. I might be able to fix that, but I don't know know for sure.

     Blehhhh. It's not that it will break the bank for me to get another bike, but finding another bike is going to be such a major hassle
