   Am I the only one that tends to use the same hashtags from time to time?

   If not, do you type them out every single time? It's what I do and it's getting tiresome.

   I've been begging Fedi app devs for a feature I call a "hashtag drawer" where individual hashtags with CamelCase can be saved in the composer for re-use.

   The closest I've gotten is Ivory saving CamelCase hashtags that are "featured" on your profile.

   I've been begging for this kind of feature for over a year now and still haven't found a suitable solution.

   Is it REALLY not possible?🤨😩

     @DavidBHimself if only it would autocomplete CamelCase...😩

     Mastodon infamously doesnt know what a capital letter is.🤷♂️

     @BeAware@social.beaware.live It depends on your client. Some do help auto complete as you type. Including the basic Mastodon website.

     @BeAware Being on Mastodon / Fedi for almost a year now, it actually took me a while to understand how hashtags are used. Whereas on other platforms they're used more expressively as content keywords - here, they tend to have very specific meanings and used more for organizing / filtering. That means that random tags have no purpose, and most people commonly use a set of specific tags. So, with that, yes, I like your idea. Perhaps a tabbed dropdown, like the emoji one, to select common tags.

     @shyestrange Yes! I specifically use them to "categorize" my posts and since I usually talk about the same things, this type of feature would be SO useful!

     @BeAware I'd like that. but at least when I'm on my computer and not on ivory or icecubes sometimes it starts suggesting as I type.
