Partly because the Left in the West turned against Jews after events in Palestine (just guessing). But that ignores the chance that non-Jews took actually, and no matter how many children Trump married to Jews, and how much he pledges to love Israel, he remains a non-Jew. And a non-Jew has inherently non-Jewish interests, like having a strong country, killing Globalism, or making the middle-class wealthy again; things that a Jew would hate to see.
