@merlin@domi If it's a valid address / domain with a valid matching cert it will work. If it didn't there would be a bug in the HTTP client being used and that bug would have been encountered years ago before ActivityPub
@feld@domi yeah, one could also buy a normal domain and get a normal certificate. or easier even, take one's posts over to Threads. but why choose the easy and obvious way when there is a chance to explore the corner cases of software?
