     @wilbr I wasn't repeating rumors. I spotted them while I was passenger in a car, and thus couldn't not collect details, especially since at first glance I had dismissed it as just police, and as we passed, I saw the vehicles further down the road and what looked like a god damn small army. I gave what info I had.

     @hellomiakoda I know you weren't, I'm saying if I were to share what you wrote with my friends it would basically be "someone said they saw ice near goodwill" and that's a rumor at that point, it's vague and by the time they see it it might be outdated. Providing SALUTE details helps that info be copy pasted widely and everyone in the chain can evaluate its relevance on their own ("oh I saw those black SUVs, they were going the other way" "that was this morning, I'm gone now" etc)
