     For a few years we paid a consultant over double what we paid the CIO to whom the consultant reported. 🤦

     Sure, he was pretty good, but not double the CIO's salary good.

     Old consultant joke. You call in a consultant to ask them what time it is. They say "Of course! Can I borrow your watch?" Then they tell you the time and keep the watch.
