this is the sort of reason why people stay single: putting restrictions on what their partner has to do a priori without bothering to work out what works best within your relationship as it develops. Laundry should take almost no time out of your life if you have the right equipment and setup. Cooking can be done by specialized labour from those outside of your relationship if you've got wealth by combining resources from two working people. This really shouldn't even be an issue dividing people.
That's some hot garbage dude. First off, there should never be a need for "two incomes" unless you're homesteading.
There's nothing "restrictive" about wanting someone that can do certain things, or at least be willing to learn them. I work 4 12 hour shifts every damned week, so yes, having someone to help me would be admirable in a wife.
"Automating" basic tasks is the reason our society has gotten so lazy and incompetent. I'd rather get the groceries myself and get it done right than have some third-worlder or other low-IQ twit go and miss half the shit I asked for because they couldn't be bothered to look.
Look, I really don't give a fuck. You are both saying the same damn thing, and if you've got two people doing 4 12 hours shifts a week you should be able to figure out how to solve your problems, but instead of doing that you're both making demands
> "Automating" basic tasks is the reason our society has gotten so lazy
Not wasting time on fighting eachother over how many jugs of milk or mushrooms to buy and using that time to actually do something useful instead is an improvement and 'some third worlder' is probably what you're looking for in a wife by the sounds of it.
