     @distrowatch Hmm, if an organization (?) that's about open source needs to be kicked by big tech before they consider switching to the free fediverse world...that doesn't bode well for us?

     @bbbhltz It appeared to be global. But we've been hearing this afternoon that some people can post links to us on FB again. It might be enough people appealed/complained that they've reversed their position?

     @elaterite Thanks. We've never had a social media account before for DistroWatch. This is our first, just seemed like the time to do it since the unofficial/fan accounts were being shut down.

     @janneke Perhaps. Though I'd like to point out we didn't "switch" to the fediverse. We didn't have an official presence on FB. Other people set up RSS feed reposting bots on FB and Twitter to follow us. (Someone did on Mastodon too.)
