@sillygwailo @disquiet the only place i know that does a spicy douhua is Royal Feast in Millbrae, on the weekends. they also have all kinds of delicious buns and bings from all over china on the weekends. and the best all over peking duck
the city proper doesn't have great soy / douhua options
