   @appassionato @palestine Fun fact! We're still clearing out unexploded bombs from WWII.
   I'd say 10 years is a pretty optimistic take.

     UN says it could take 10 years to clear unexploded bombs from Gaza

     The explosives buried in the rubble in Gaza would take $500 million over 10 years to clear from some 42 million tonnes of rubble which also contains asbestos, other hazardous contaminants and human remains.

     @Infoseepage @grumpydad @appassionato @palestine I live in London, my kids’ school was evacuated a few years ago because workers digging a hole found an unexploded bomb from ww2. And I remember seeing a documentary from a wood company in northern France that x rays every tree they cut into boards to spot shrapnel and guns embedded in them.
