   @PallasRiot I love LibCom's "1 like = 1 horrible thing about the Labour party" thing they had going for the longest time, but so many established and/or big name @'s cannot shut the fuck up that "all sides are equally bad." Drives me fucking bonkers.

     @RadicalGraffiti @PallasRiot I just said I like that LibCom shits on Labour. I generally don't vote because I can't bring myself to do it. I hate them all too much. I disagree with the analysis that "both sides are equally bad" which is what many say when they attack "lefter than right-wing" parties. I'm not sure what position you think I actually hold.

     There's also more than 500 anarchists and elections are lost by slimmer margins, and since it's somewhat winner takes all, if we agree that one party is worse than others, then yes it would be correct from a consequentialist approach for anarchists to vote. I would rather organize under a liberal alleged democracy than an outright fascist rule.

     @hakan_geijer @PallasRiot What exactly is the problem with anarchists denouncing the Democratic Party?

     Anarchists are a tiny, miniscule demographic in the USA, most of whom live in safe democratic party areas anyway.

     Every single election there is a chorus of anarcho liberals aggressively demanding other anarchists must vote for the democratic party, despite the fact that anarchists are so small in number that their combined votes could never sway any vote.

     Obviously there are differences between the parties, but the results of the elections are completely outside the hands of anarchists. Anarchists should resist whatever political party is in power.

     This same thing plays out in many countries.

     Liberals like yourselves always try to heap blame at the 500 or so anarchists that didn't vote whenever your favorite party loses, and attempt to shame them for not campaigning for the "good party", and try to blame them for whatever repressive laws the right-wing party enacts.

     It's just in my experience this is a total strawman, used over and over to denounce any anarchist who criticizes the liberal or left party in the months before an election.

     @MisuseCase @hakan_geijer @PallasRiot That's fair, and true. and it's possible I misinterpreted. But anarchists also use @ as a shorthand for anarchy/anarchism/anarchist, and as Hakan Geijer is an anarchist, and in their preceding sentence mentioned Libcom, an anarchist website, and the context was denouncing people who say "both political parties are equally bad", which is a very common accusation made by anarchists who vote to describe the alleged beliefs of anarchists who don't vote.

I kinda of feel like people should just be focused on not dying ? Why play the blame game? Its not gonna stop the government from terrorizing the public.

Do you ever scroll while shitting or waiting for the bus? A random 6 minute break in the day where nothing else can get done isn't somehow preventing me from doing my actual organising
