However, the U.S. judge hearing his case denied his request — and ordered his deportation back to Russia, where he was soon arrested yet again.
   
   we can't deport rapists and serial thieves but we can deport democracy protestors apparently

     @realcaseyrollins @tk apparently the judge is an absolute bongo with a 0% approval rate for asylum, and his actual words were just "you'll go to jail but you won't get killed" (Meduza)

     That judge would certainly make a hell of a career in Russia with attitude like that.
