   OpenMandriva apparently changed it's name to "Non-Woke".
   Great... on top of everything else, I have to keep tabs on the distros I use, whether or not they go evil.
   Thankfully, I'm not running Mandriva on anything, but who's to say it's not Manjaro or Arch tomorrow.

   I can't even just have my computer.

     @hellomiakoda Yes please. Two of my three computers keep "reminding" me that I need to upgrade them. I am not interested in paying over a hundred dollars because some programmers got creative and money hungry.

     Sure. When some of the dust settles, we can get started. I want to avoid pointing you to a distro and finding out a week later that it's going "non-woke" or something, so I just want to give it a bit so I can double check my list of recommendations.

     @m @hellomiakoda I thank you both. Transition between Windows and Linux seems like it will take a lot of help, and time.

     Been with Windows since before Windows 95. I have a lot to learn and adapt into this new-to-me system.

     The good news is, unless you start going "backstage", it basically IS Windows, as far as how you use it.
     If you go with KDE or XFCE (I'll explain in a sec), there's an app launcher that is your "Start Menu", some app names are different, but still a "Word" and FireFox and all that, just like Windows.
