   @goatsarah @zip I am cis, male, and pale: and the USA is the main market for my books. Even so I cancelled all my (provisional) plans for US travel on November 7th. Trans rights are the canary in the coal mine and it's going to get very bad for everyone in due course. (Including most of the folks who voted for him.)

     Given that the order on gender includes visas and that most trans people have updated passports, I assume that this leaves trans people with a choice of either breaking immigration law and hoping the US doesn't know they're trans, or having a mismatch between their visa and passport which will no doubt be used to deny issuance or entry.

     Unfortunately for me the US government definitely officially knows I'm trans.
