     @monkee@other.li :neocat_floof_cute: sure its often a struggle, but its also often very helpful. it all kinda boils down to how to deal with it (at least in my case, i'm well aware that its different for others)
     
     and tbh, i wouldn't want to trade my messy chaotic brain with a neurotypical one. that would be heccing boring

     @monkee@other.li :neocat_googly_woozy: i don't have an official diagnosis, but it was heavily suspected by a therapist in my childhood. as a child i didn't think much of it because i really didn't understand it and as i got older, i was way too scared to show it because of fear of how the other people would react to it (kinda got that internalized because of heavy bullying at school). i only really got more open about it since i joined fedi. but i still haven't dropped my mask completely because i still struggle with that fear of not being accepted the way i am.
     
     so its only since i started my process of opening up, that i tried to understand myself better and i tried different strategies for my daily life. its still a mess, but i can handle it better nowadays than i used to

     I only have a Diagnosis for 2 years? So i'm not sure if i fully accepted the fact...

     @puniko@mk.absturztau.be Kinda feel you. I was always an odd Duck and always liked that fact. I only slowly realise how much masking i do - not easy to separate me from mask sometimes cause i did it so long without realizing.
