     @dansup first off congrats dude. secondly I imagine that theres a huge dollop of jealous in there but its also a shitty sideeffect from the whole linux/self hosted community at large - too many superiority complexes. We`re all here for the same reasons - Why can we just play nice!

     But in general, understanding the social dynamics much deeper and in hindsight, the frustration was to be expected and avoidable, realising that we cannot just project organization structures that work under hypercapitalism in the business world and think they will perform well in a commons. We need to dedicate more time figuring out how we might support this commons with the open social web technologies we build. Create the social web using social experiences based on the social web.

     It is kinda sad and frustrating I can say fullheartedly as former multi-year facilitator of SocialHub. People like to discuss their own project, yet in general not help doing the chores to maintain a community. It gave me more nuanced idea of what a useful concept of "community" is and what not. For AS/AP fedi to work a "commons" must collaborate, consisting of many independent initiatives (who may have their own community) and also include fedizen participation in the broadest sense.
