     @gabi What's the hardware (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, GPU)? I'll be able to determine if Triquel with run just fine with those details.

     @gabi NIC will work.
     
     GPU should work at native resolution with the radeon driver, but with no 3D accel and no ACPI S3 suspend.
     
     Unfortunately, the proprietary peripheral software that runs on the GPU appears to be handcuffed.

     @Suiseiseki Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 PCIe GBE NIC. Radeon Vega 7. Wi-Fi is not required.

     @gabi I believe you aren't copying the live image to the storage medium properly as Trisquel always works no matter where I try to run it.

     @Suiseiseki Thanks. I have repeatedly tried over time to at least test Trisquel on that Pentagon control terminal. Unfortunately, I can't get past GNU GRUB, even with nomodeset as a workaround.

     @gabi As far as I can tell, the issue is how the Radeon Vega 7 card is broken.
     
     If you have integrated graphics, or have another card to try with that is not an AMD one it will work.
