   Dentist trip went much better than I expected today. Someone told me to count backwards from 1000 in my head as a way of distracting myself. It worked and got to 702. Also the treatment cost about £150 *less* than I thought it was going to! Bonus.

     @inscius @luke For the most powerful stuff I do remember (for belly surgery) I had to count backwards from ten. Between nine and eight I stepped into the light. Yet the pill they gave for preparation before was massive on its own.

     @morph @luke Yes my experience too. And when it starts hurting after you need morphine. Make sure they know it hurts badly ;-)
