@dansup@pixelfed I like the 2019 one. It's clean, clear, and distinctive. The 2022 version looks like a generic corporate messaging app that doesn't want to offend anyone.
@dansup@pixelfed 2022 a bit depressing to me… 2019 using the colors as wings of an aperture with the P adapted accordingly? Maybe grayshades instead of colors?
@dansup@pixelfed I agree with the others, the 2019 is nicer, it better conveys what the app is about, maybe with more pastel colors it would look nicer still
@pixelfed The 2019 and 2022 logo are still used btw, and tbh, the 2022 logo never really became official as evidenced by the @pixelfed account which still uses the 2019 logo
I wanted to try to adopt the trendy black logo aesthetic that many brands have been doing but obviously that was wrong.
I will revert the app to use the color logo and the 2022 black logo is now deleted from the evolution.
