   Just saw a news story about a dog that was abandoned, locked in a crate, on the sidewalk here in KC during the blizzard.

   By sheer chance, one of our local pet rescues happened to have a worker who lived nearby and was able to rescue it.

   This is the stuff that makes me wish there was a hell.

     @FlashMobOfOne I came across two beagles tied to a lamp post, in a blizzard, a long time ago. I assumed they belonged to someone who went into a store or something but they were still there more than an hour later.

     It was awkward hours and the one person I could speak to at the city told me it was a problem that would solve itself.

     I hate people.
