     @Skringot @Shadowman311 Alternative: Ignore normies, play good games, don't play DRM-filled shit, and you will find that linux is perfectly suited to gaming, and in fact, does it better than Windows.

     @Shadowman311 All Windows needs to be relevant is for Microsoft to strongarm companies and developers. Nothing more. If SteamOS can't meet your needs, then you only have 2 other choices, at least before they use money and or DRM to force you to use their shit.

     @mischievoustomato Windows is too ubiquitous as it comes pre-installed on virtually every off-the-shelf computer and has entrenched itself as the "de facto" OS. Even then, normies struggle to use it. Good luck getting normies to switch to Linux. @Shadowman311
