@bash Considering that the kernel, Linux has proprietary software in it, in infringement of the GPLv2, distributing it does constitute copyright infringement.
@sally@bash The FSF doesn't hold any substantial copyright in Linux, thus taking such a wealthy body to court without a similar level of funds would be a foolish move.
Why would the software nonfreedom conservancy sue a foundation that has a majority of their biggest donators?; https://sfconservancy.org/sponsors/
A substantial Linux copyright holder could sue Linus for his copyright infringing activities and how he accepts bribes to allow other parties to infringe copyright, but that would need to be backed by millions of dollars.
I wonder why doesn't the FSF, GNU, SFC or other freedom enjoyer organizations file a lawsuit against the Linux Foundation for such infringement, they have solid grounds to win in court.
