    I am still awaiting someone to explain how this isn't akin to the past non-browser projects Mozilla attempted and then dropped: feels like they would be far better served focuisng in speed and privacy and build a browser folks would pay for rather than pivoting to AI and data collection... One other reason I moved to being a @Vivaldi user...

      @wonkothesane @Vivaldi It uses the Chromium browser engine, but none of the other Chrome privacy invasive tech. They own their own skin and tech around the open source but Chromium and Google influenced HTML renderer.

      @tchambers @Vivaldi Is Vivaldi built on Chrome? Literally the only reason I still use Firefox

      @stinerman @wonkothesane @Vivaldi I get that. I'd prefer a pure open source solution too, but not a show stopper feature for me. Also I get why from a biz standpoint:

      @wonkothesane my major problem with Vivaldi is that it's not open source. Otherwise it seems like a fine browser.
