      @graf I've got a now-discontinued combination conical burr grinder/coffee maker that just werks and the coffee is great when the beans are great. Grinding is easy, it's brewing it in hoity-toity ways that gets wild.

      @Goalkeeper @graf as mentioned above, if you are looking to get espresso consistency, there can be a good bit of difference. Burr size can also make a difference in speed.

      As long as it's a conical burr grinder it shouldn't matter too much.

      Well yeah but I am just talking coffee here. Espresso is a whole different ball of wax if you want it to come out right.

      @sickburnbro @CSB@poa.st @graf @CSB

      I've had the Baratza Encore for 5 years and use it daily for drip style coffee. I have only had one issue from not cleaning it well enough when using oily beans, but can attest that it is incredibly easy to take apart and clean.

      My only gripe is that it doesn't automatically stop at a specific gram amount, but that feature also doubles the price.

      @fkq1q2r2 @CSB @graf @CSB yeah, I'm not super worried about the specific gram amount, because it means you have to have a scale integrated, etc. etc.
