I made a delicious Christmas meal for 3 with ingredients that cost less than $10.
That's less than the tip for going out these days.
I'm not really interested in dining out much for various reasons (except to taco trucks and noodle spots), costs are often unreasonably high and the experience is often not worth it anymore.
I'm someone who LOVES dining out and I feel like this.

@delProfundo yeah there are a handful of places that i would still go for a nice meal out.
not just a price range thing but whether it's worth it.
i have really cheap groceries where i am so that helps.

@skinnylatte I decided to make Christmas lunch, on the cheap too (was amazing, but not quite $10!, <bows to the master>)
I also am finding it harder to dine out, the quality delta is decreasing while the cost delta increases constantly. With one or two exceptions.
