   I'm not surprised that Bill Belichick has jumped from the #NFL to the #NCAA as he always wanted full control and at his age, nobody in the NFL is going to give him the keys to the organisation.

   I never believed the Cowboys were a realistic landing spot as himself and Jerry Jones would be too much together, the Cowboys are Jerry's team and he will only hand over the keys upon his death.

     @musicman TBH I haven't a clue how this will go, but Belichick will have full control and it is probably easier to have this in college rather than the NFL. One thing about it is that it will put UNC in the spotlight and it is probably worth the gamble in this case.

     @kevie don't think it's easier in college at all. players can leave after a year whereas in the NFL players often have multi-year contracts

     @musicman no sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant it is easier to land that "supreme commander" role in college as opposed to the NFL. I totally agree that it is way more difficult to maintain a dynasty as you simply can't go out and sign people like you can in the NFL. Belichick has a reputation of being all work no play dictator type of ruler, young guys may not want to play for him.
