     @morrowindsexmods @RustyCrab how the hell can you dislike demoman from tf2, or louis and coach from l4d, or alyx and eli in hl2? it's very easy to forget about em as it all gets muddied up with dogshit characters from sweet baby inc. games

     @morrowindsexmods @RustyCrab exactly man, valve knew what they were doing when they just made likable characters and then midway through thought "oh yeah, lets make him a nigga just for lulz" and didn't change anything about him besides his skin color and maybe accent

     @lina @RustyCrab demoman in particular i was thinking about how he would have been designed by like, the Overwatch team. they probably would have made him gay and given him a weird African accent instead of his funny Scottish accent.

     @lina @RustyCrab She was very likeable. The whole game she was talking with a slightly autistic science nerd as her comm guy, but she was never mean to him. I think they actually became friends.

     No other company could have done that in [current year]. She could have so easily been a girl boss deriding that nerd for caring more about his gloves not getting damaged then saving her father.

     @lina @RustyCrab @morrowindsexmods the game is fine, there is nothing out of place compared to hl2. the most annoying thing is the silly quippy jokey jokes, but those were present (and way worse!) in portal 2. no clue what youre seething about over something you admit to knowing nothing about

     i just think that one guy that you never seen or spoke to who claimed valve would get VR as a proper gaming platform ate shit after all this time
