     @cine@cawfee.club the main one is that there is that prices don't go up anymore, I have been buying meat for the same prices for months, apart from that there has been a slight increase of the feeling of safety on the streets, back in 2023, my salary was 300usd/month, if i was working in the same place i would be making 500. prices on some things are also even going down and imports are open so i can import digital goods cheaper than before, to give you an specific example, a google pixel phone can be bought for around 200-300 usd on aliexpress/amazon, it costed 1000 usd in the local argentine market, because the tax on imports was massive, now i can import it without a problem directly from them for the actual price

     @cine@cawfee.club they are in the process of taking them out, because the fiscal surplus is really difficult to maintain, so they can't just remove every tax in one go, plus some of them have to go through the Congress. For imports that cost less than 400 dollars the tax is just 21%, which you have to pay if you pay on any store anyway

     @waifu That's reasonable, plus a clear improvement. I hope Argentina keeps the momentum. It'd be nice if it worked as a success story so we started pushing for similar changes around here.

     @cine @waifu Day 1 blow to them (well deserved) was to remove the limitations on credit card interest, that alone crippled many of them.
