Loops.video was struggling to process iPhone 16 Pro Max HEVC videos, so we are deploying a temporary mitigation to fix the issue while we update our transcoding pipeline to properly support them.

Just from curiosity, what format/codec are you using to transcode the videos and what are you using on your pipeline? Is it ffmpeg? And are videos queued for transcoding or are you running parallel processes for each?

That would not only take quite some load off the servers, but also enable some large uploads in the first place.
