     @sarae yeah, it was just super uncanny valley when I finally signed up / signed in for the list I wanted to see and it's like "wait, did I log back into Twitter? I deleted my account!"

     well it would probably be a lot like the Archive of Our Own, which came out of the LJ debacle

     and last time I checked that was still chugging along independently, consistently high-use despite its mess and governance issues
