     @givenup exactly. but this is why I flip what is happening here to show what they are encouraging. When you talk about it as "submit to your husband - modern people can find it harsh and selfish. But this in particular shows what the result of encouraging non-submission gets.

     @Druid the whole thing is this "haha, make just a little exception to the rule" only even begins to work when you don't have a giant secular society which already says "men are evil". Since you do, one exception quickly becomes the rule.
