     I think we all need to contact our Senators on all these appalling picks. Patel is definitely on the no go list. We should not "obey in advance" and assume our democracy can't hold. Maybe we'll end up disappointed, but then we move on to the next fight. It's just so vital that we keep pushing and don't give up. #uspol

     @jawarajabbi @GottaLaff I appreciate the comments about contacting the Senate. I just don't think those rules apply, and for my generation at least, I'm not sure there will be a next fight. Frankly, and I don't want to see this, given everything that the orange thug has said, (recess appointments, etc...) I am starting to think I'll be disappointed if things don't end up in the streets.

     @jawarajabbi @GottaLaff I'm going to point you to a post I wrote reviewing a streaming series that wonderfully plays out what happens under the tyranny of big men with small minds (and guns). There's compromise and survival instincts and while new for us, it's not new in the history of the world.
