   To me it makes intuitive sense to post things I don't want boosted on that setting (I haven't put effort into vetting who follows me, but I still can use it to speak a little more quietly & controlled-ly there, and that's when I use)

   *To abusers* it makes intuitive sense to use it for abusive behavior. *I* would never have thought of this use in a million years if it hadn't been pointed out, but *they* figure it out very fast

     @audiodude @inquiline It's gross but it's exactly what happens by default when you reply to a followers only post. The reply isn't scoped to OP's followers but yours (plus anyone @'d).

     @inquiline Sorry are we talking about "Followers only *toots*" or "Followers only *replies*"?

     I see a use case for follower-only OP, but replying to someone else's thread but only your followers can see it? That is very gross.

     @audiodude @inquiline Asimple fix would be exposing followers-only posts to followers of anyone @'d not just the author.
