     @riesl This reminds me of the work of the great Hannah Hoch, the Dada artist who was one of the originators of photomontage. Love it.

     @riesl I was inspired to start collaging by Suzette Haden Elgin, a linguist, poet, and science fiction writer. She came regularly to a local science fiction convention in Tulsa, where I lived at the time. She also did crafts (we have several of her dolls), and made little collage books combining text and images.

     I'd never heard of her until now... It feels so good to look at some collages. You and one or two others are the only people I know who make them so I like very much to learn about more... Thank you! Now I am also asking myself why I haven't searched a little harder...
