     @HebrideanHecate @TriptychTwinsRidesAgain @stephagain I personally met a woman who was convicted of this sort of neglect, this was over 40 years ago, there was learning difficulties involved.
     I feel we musn't be too quick to jump to "evil" when it's a mental health issue.
     But saying that, we shouldn't go down the road of saying "all women with mental health issues should have their babies removed by social services" either.

     @stephagain When my grandparents were young, poor people would often let babies sleep in drawers because they couldn't afford cribs. This sort of abuse is other level inhumane. Poor little one.

     There's usually a bloke involved in these cases.
