   Friends, I want to make sure you know that the Social Web Devroom at FOSDEM 2025 will be the first track at that conference dedicated entirely to ActivityPub servers, Fediverse clients, libraries, apps, toolkits, services, and the like. If you work on Fediverse software that is Free and Open Source, please consider submitting a proposal to talk: https://pretalx.fosdem.org/fosdem-2025/cfp The deadline is December 1, 2024, so not much time remains. But proposals are very quick! More info:

     @naturzukunft @evan "conference-based programming" is a phrase I heard from ajax/Adam Jackson (of XFree86/Xorg fame). Basically one submits abstracts to conferences, which are then accepted and ... now the work has to be done! Can't back out!
