     @sun @anemone If it's ever practical to self host Blue Sky, this will actually be a good thing, but it isn't and the top priority of the main instance is to be as libtarded as possible.

     @sun @anemone I'm not in the community so I can't say for sure, but if I were guessing, it's something to do with Blue Sky trying to bring more of a free market approach to the algorithm. Musk promised to do this years ago and never delivered, the algo on Twitter has become insufferable actually, all it does is push monetizable engagement bait bc he's essentially running it like text based Youtube now.
