   I’ve been on the fediverse since 2008 (well it wasn’t federated then by that’s when I joined identi.ca which is where the activitypub protocol behind the fediverse originated from). I’m not going anywhere!

     @luke @Paul @inscius I started with StatusNet v0.8.x ... can't guess the year anymore. It was still the two columns layout. Also at first as a local instance, federated later on.

     @inscius You had to do something on it iirc. Also there was this CLI daemon which had to run. Well, don't ask me details. It's been a while ago. 😄

     @inscius @luke @Paul I remember the first persons that responded to my federated instance were Charles (from Parlementum StatusNet) and Tobias (from Friendica running on his laptop).
