How to treat staph infection without antibiotics

@SK1ZM @GoyGirl Alright skip the Neosporin. If it's staff you might take longer to heal because like 80% of people are mildly allergy to one of the three antibiotics in Neosporin. Try bacitracin ointment or plain petroleum jelly. If you want to go the granola route, a single drop of tea tree oil can treat a tablespoon of petroleum jelly.

I've had three gnarly boils on my forearm for over a week, the two smaller ones are going away but the third one is getting larger even though I keep it wrapped under a bandage covered in Neosporin

@SK1ZM @GoyGirl Sure does. Keeping the skin moist is the biggest thing. Apply a few times a day, at least two or three and cover up. Staph is incredibly tough to kill even before all the antibiotic resistance problems. Just takes forever.

@SK1ZM @GoyGirl any chance it's impetigo? Can look staph and it spreads while looking flat once the boil pops. That usually needs an antibiotic. Best bet is 2% mupirocin.

@GoyGirl @SK1ZM Good to know about sida acuta. I've never used honey, but I bet it would work if you're used a heavy treatment. Definitely buffer your oils (tea tree) so that it doesn't give you a chemical burn. I like petroleum jelly for that.

There's a flowing plant called sida acuta that fights staph. Also tea tree & eucalyptus oils. Raw honey, for sure, too. Keep covered, wash towels after each time.
Try to avoid gluten & processed dairy, fr. Take a multi-billion cfu refrigerated probiotic if possible.

Yeah, totally. Both those oils are intense w/o dilution. Aloe gel maybe, too? And I bet a good Manuka honey's even better.
