     @webuiltthiscity @luis_in_brief @mekkaokereke I don't think you should be limited to one app, but I also don't think you should have to jump from app to app to stay connected to your friends and people who interest you. The three networks you mention here are all connected with open standards -- you can keep an account on Mastodon and follow people on Threads and Bluesky almost seamlessly.

     @luis_in_brief @mekkaokereke I also do not understand people who think a person is limited to ONE and only ONE social media app. I use Mastodon, Bluesky, and Threads, and like each for different reasons. In each case, the people I find there and the content I have to access to is different. All uniquely good, though.

     @luis_in_brief @evan the bridge is working fine for me -- I'm using it to interact with folks who have no idea about fediverse or mastodon or anything. Do you just mean knowing who's using the bridge & finding their accounts? That's the only PITA I've found.

     @evan I love ya ev, but the idea that you can follow people on Bluesky “almost seamlessly” is not true. It’s hard for normal humans to follow people on different Masto instances seamlessly even!
