     @noyoushutthefuckupdad come to think of it, it only took 50 years or so for states to begin successfully subversively employing video games proper in their propaganda (cf. Dustborne).

     @lykanthrocide @noyoushutthefuckupdad @Blouie @Tsuki @coolboymew there was a guy involved in gamergate that was claiming that indie game companies were getting money from DARPA to create simulations for playing out scenarios like FEMA assuming continuity of government after disasters. At the time I looked into it and it was all true.

Guy went off the deep end of crazy I heard, but we had literal video proof of military meetings about possibly using video games for propaganda and such, and military money is now mysteriously finding itself in those shitty consulting companies
